Fuel monitoring

ACCURATE REFUELING REGISTRATION
Problem
The calculation of fuel costs based on income does not recognize the amount of fuel that was actually consumed by the vehicle. In this case, the calculation of costs is approximate and can create a field for manipulation of the driver or other personnel.
The fuel tank is a vulnerable part of the fuel system, the standard fuel sensor is designed primarily for approximate level measurement and is not used to monitor fuel levels and accurate supply control, which is important for us when it comes to fuel costs.
Consequences
Drivers can overestimate fuel consumption on vehicles and take fuel for their own personal use. The cost of fuel is growing, while part of its profits are absent in the companies. Inaccurate control leads to a failure in the provision of real data, in fact the tank is not filled with the volume of fuel specified in the receipt or invoice.
Fixed tanks without fuel level control are usually delivered on schedule, which is sometimes done too early and increases the operating costs of the equipment.
Solution
Accurate fuel level data gives opportunities to control fuel supplies and monitor fuel levels effectively, indicate potential fuel theft, confirming refueling volumes. As it turns out, the overestimation of fuel consumption on the basis of manipulations with the fuel tank can be kept to a minimum, so fuel costs can be reduced considerably. Data can be used for route and fuel costs optimization.
Level control requires an accurate level meter: one of the standard sensors or an additional fuel level sensor. Data from the sensor can be collected and analyzed. Level control requires an accurate level meter: one of the standard sensors or an additional fuel level sensor. The sensor data can be collected and analyzed. A standard vehicle sensor is designed to measure the fuel level, the accuracy of the data vary from vehicle to vehicle. Additional fuel level sensors are generally more accurate and customizable, with some additional functions to improve measurement accuracy.
In both cases, we need a device to collect and transfer data to server.
WHAT TO DO
Fuel tank check
DUT-E fuel level sensor measures the level with an accuracy of ± 1%. Correction of the measurement level is based on the ambient temperature, the volume of fuel is indicated in liters or as a percentage of the capacity. Sensor provides information on the amount of refueling and identifies potential fuel theft.

CAN bus data interface
Mastercan vehicle data interface is designed to collect and sort data. It converts signals from CAN bus (SAE J1939/71) and 1708bus (SAE J1708) to the messages, which can be transferred via CAN2.0, RS232 or RS485 input of the recording or tracking device.
