Fuel level sensors

Smart sensors for fuel tank monitoring
Purpose of use
Fuel level sensor DUT-E transmits data about current fuel level to GPS tracker. Fleet monitoring system determines location and time of this transfer using GPS. User receives information about the events and parameters of the vehicle in the form of graphs and tables.
Principle of operation
DUT-E fuel level sensors are based on capacitance principle. Depending on fuel level in tank, the capacitance changes. Embedded software of the sensors instantly analyzes capacitance and generates corresponding output signal.
Major benefits of that principle:
1) extra solidity due to absence of moving parts
2) high accuracy and sensitivity of measurement
3) easy probe cutting/extending right at installation place

DUT-E models selection
DUT-E
Classic fuel level sensor
DUT-E – standard fuel level sensor with cable interface designed to measure fuel level and volume in tanks of vehicles and stationary objects. Usually used as part of a vehicle’s fuel control and monitoring systems. Output signals: analog, voltage, frequency, current, digital interface (RS-232, RS-485, CAN j1939 / S6).
DUT-E S7
Wireless fuel level sensor (BLE)
DUT-E S7 – wireless fuel level sensor with built-in battery transmits data via BLE (Bluetooth 4.X) simultaneously to several devices, such as GPS tracker, display in a driver’s cab, smartphones / tablets. The absence of a cable provides explosion and fire safety, quick installation, resistance to vandalism.
DUT-E 2Bio
Differential fuel level sensor
DUT-E 2Bio – differential fuel level sensor with automatic recognition of fuel type and thermal compensation measures the amount of fuel in the tank with the same accuracy for all types of fuel. Output signals: analog, voltage, frequency, current, digital interface (RS-232, RS-485, CAN j1939 / S6).
DUT-E GSM
Fuel level sensor with GPS and GSM
DUT-E GSM combines properties of fuel level sensor and GPS tracker, transmits data about fuel volume, temperature, location, route, other via GSM 2G/3G/LTE network to telematics server, sends reports by e-mail and SMS. DUT-E 2Bio and DUT-E sensors can be connected to DUT-E GSM for monitoring fuel in several tanks as well as other telematics devices. Remote sensor configuration via the Internet.
INSTALLATION
It is recommended to install DUT-E in the geometric center of the tank.
After DUT-E installation, it is necessary to perform fuel tank calibration.
Calibration table is used by fuel management system to determine fuel volume in tank.
DUT-E sensors are able to calculate fuel volume (in liters or as a percentage of the full tank) independently and send this data to the output message. To do this, the calibration table must be stored in the sensor memory using the SK DUT-E service kit.
